Winter Wallpapers Gallery -0-

The Gallery is for the Winter Wallpapers, Winter Wallpapers Gallery, Photos of winter Seasons etc...

Winter is the coldest season of the year in temperate climates, between autumn and spring. Different cultures define different dates as the start of winter, and some use a definition based on weather, but when it is winter in the Northern Hemisphere it is summer in the Southern Hemisphere, and vice versa. In many regions, winter is associated with snow and freezing temperatures. winter season the season of the year that covers the winter months ... And, of course, there is Concorde during the winter season.

Happy Halloween!! -0-

I am sure you all have some fun Halloween activities planned. We'll be taking both kids out trick-or-treating this year.  Jett has been talking about this day for weeks!

This year my kids are going as farm animals.

Jane is our little chicken. I made her costume by modifying this Martha Stewart tutorial. I just glued a feather boa straight onto one of her onsies.

I think she looks pretty dang cute.

Jett is a little sheep this year.

(yes he has mismatched socks. that is a common occurrence in our household)

I sort of used this tutorial to make this costume but I changed a lot of things. I just bought a black hoodie and black leggings at Wal-Mart. I then hot glued quilting batting all over the hoodie except for the arms. I also hot glued some felt ears on the top.

Have a great time trick-or-treating! I know we will.

Feature Friday: Domestic Fashionista -0-

Happy Halloween!! Today I am featuring the home of blogger Ashley Urke from the blog Domestic Fashionista. Here is what she says she loves most about her home:

What I love most about my home is that it is a reflection of my family.  Family photos hang on the wall along with art that has been collected when we travel.  Without any words our walls tell a story.  Our home has been collected over time with a mix of old thrift store finds, gifts from friends and family, as well as little bits of decor to reflect current trends.  Creating an eclectic look makes decorating our home affordable, unique, and full of life.  I try to keep my home up to date with my love for style while still honoring a space that serves our family well.  At the end of the day, if we can find comfort in the peacefulness of our home, I know that my efforts at making our house a home was a success!

Thanks so much Ashley for sharing her home tour with us. Make sure you check out her blog here
